How it works

  1. Write sixty characters. "take your vitamins". "you've got this". "stop scrolling".
  2. Pick a courier and a moment. In an hour, tonight, tomorrow morning, this weekend.
  3. Keep it, or send it. Sent notes travel through your own Messages. No accounts, no server, nothing stored anywhere but the two phones.
  4. It arrives. The creature expands into the Dynamic Island on its own, holding what you wrote.

What is Pipnote?

An iPhone app that delivers short notes into the Dynamic Island. You write up to sixty characters, pick one of four animal couriers, and choose the moment. At that moment the creature expands into the island on its own, holding your note.

Do I need an account?

No. There's nothing to sign up for and no server behind the app. Notes you keep stay on your phone. Notes you send are packed into a link that travels through your own Messages.

Can the recipient peek at a note early?

They can't. Tapping the link seals it. They see who it's from and when it lands, and that's all, until the courier arrives with the text.

Does it work on iPhones without the Dynamic Island?

Pipnote is built for the Dynamic Island and needs iOS 26 or later. On an iPhone without the island, notes still land on the Lock Screen as Live Activities.

How much does Pipnote cost?

The app is free and lets you send three notes a week. Pro unlocks every courier and lifts the caps, sold as a monthly or yearly subscription, or a single lifetime purchase.
